iomart System Status

iomart is aware of the concerning outages created by the CrowdStrike issue this morning.  The outages have been escalating and within a few short hours impacted multiple businesses globally.

iomart does not consume, supply or support CrowdStrike services, so we would like to assure you that iomart is not directly impacted.  

We are conscious that some of our clients may be impacted where they have taken CrowdStrike products independently. CrowdStrike have offered some early workaround’s, but it is important to understand that these are not patches to the problem.  Where you require assistance, iomart can provide best endeavours to assist recovery.

We recommend to our clients that even if they are not directly impacted, they should investigate critical suppliers who may consume CrowdStrike services, which may have a secondary or tertiary impact upon them.

CloudStrike CEO has confirmed that the outage was not as a result of a cybersecurity attack and is wholly related to an update error.
